Ministry Schedule 2010 (Jan. 2, 2010 to March 28, 2010)
To All Our Lectors, Extra-ordinary Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers:
Please accept our deep, heartfelt appreciation for your service in your respective ministries. We know that you find your service as its own reward, yet we thank you abundantly, in the name of our Lord, Jesus.
If you are unable to serve for any scheduled ministry, please try to arrange a substitute.
We are aware that some of our Readers and Extra-ordinary Eucharistic Ministers prefer to worship at a specific Mass and have requested that they be scheduled only for that Mass. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. We ask that you keep in mind that your ministry is one of service to the needs of our parish and our fellow parishioners and that you may be called upon to serve in the capacity of your ministerial vocation at times other than what may be to your preference. We trust that you will carry out the duties and responsibilities of your ministry in the same reverent spirit with which you initially accepted your respective appointments.
Please communicate to Marilyn or Kathie of any changes in your availability to serve in your respective ministries so that we may take them into account when preparing the next Ministry Schedule.
Lectors and Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Please check in with Father Jay, or any other celebrant that is filling in for Father Jay, 10 minutes before the scheduled Mass start time.
EXTRA-ORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST
At All Masses, each Extra-ordinary Minister of the Eucharist should rise from the pew, approach the sanctuary, bow, and proceed to the St. Joseph side of the Altar so that you are in place by the LAST verse of the “Lamb of God.”
